The key requirements here are to:

• Define the Core Customer Offer
• Define the Customer Journeys
• Define the outputs

There is also a need to define the key integration points/interfaces:

• Within the customer journey
• Between applications/systems
• Between partners/stakeholders
• To external 3 rd parties
• Security model

The two key outputs from this phase are the Project Initiation Document and the Statement of Work .

Specification & Design

With the processes defined, the next step is to develop a systems specification for each of the system/solution areas.
