Underpinning and running consistently thought the core Design, Build & Implement phases of the systems integration lifecycle is the need for clearly defined process to support management and quality, but processes in themselves are not enough, it is the processes combined with the quality and experience of the individuals that delivers the project. InfrastructureSpecifying and delivering the correct infrastructure is vital for the successful ongoing operation of the solution, whether hosted remotely or locally. Silverbear will work closely with the existing IT team to develop a pragmatic and scalable solution. TrainingOur approach is to use the expert users form a user group, initially assisted by a training mentor, to help conduct a review of training, and to develop new training programmes particularly for new staff members, and new products, meeting once a month for the first 3 months, and quarterly thereafter for half a day, for example. One training mentor to act as coach to the group, meeting once a month for the first 3 months to check on progress, allocate tasks, one of which will be to select a chair for the group moving forward. Expert users to conduct "competency" tests on all users within their own department or specialist area, and provide one to one training sessions for those failing to meet the required standard.
