The “Why” (Business & Technology Alignment)
Silverbear believe that successful projects are built on a joint understanding of the “why”. To achieve this joint understanding requires us to work closely with our customers to identify the business drivers for change and the elements of the transformation that will be necessary for the successfully delivery of this change.
Establishing this context allows Silverbear to ensure that our solutions are aligned with the business drivers, that the anticipated outcomes and return on investment are clearly defined at the outset and then achieved with the project’s delivery. That way we both have a common understanding that runs throughout the project, ensuring that the business, the people and technology solution are aligned.
Silverbear don’t look to start with a blank sheet of paper, we look to bring our experiences, knowledge and best practice - even to challenge and test ideas.
The “What”
A clear and agreed definition of the project and all the stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities provides the foundation on which successful projects are built – the “what”. The discovery process enables us to define “what", which we document in a Statement of Work.
Silverbear have found that having these defined as early as possible contributes to overall project success because all parties share a common understanding of their obligations and expectations. Only once the project is clearly defined can the commercials and working arrangements between Silverbear and the customer be agreed and finalised.
To maximise the efficiency of the discovery process Silverbear have developed a number of solution accelerators for specific markets and solution areas. These include:
The discovery process is tuned around your requirements, the scale of the project, the integration points and the inputs you can provide. So, these solution accelerators are templates that give a head start.

The “Who”
Successful projects are delivered by successful teams that have a clear objective and plan. The respective roles and responsibilities of the project team are clearly detailed in the Statement of Work, the output from the Discovery phase.
Good people are the foundation of our business and central to its success.
